The excitement was palpable as Animal Tracks Sanctuary made waves at this year's Sagebrush to Stardust Agua Dulce Country Fair & Parade!
Our dedicated volunteer John Hirigoyen poured his heart into crafting an extraordinary pirate ship float (during the hottest part of summer) that clinched the first-place prize! Decked out in pirate costumes, our team stood out among the participants!
What truly stole the show, however, were our special furry companions who graced the float. Weeks of preparation ensured that our monkeys felt right at home amidst the parade's lively atmosphere. For these animals, whose lives have been forever altered by human intervention, moments like these are priceless: they represent an opportunity to explore new sights, sounds, and take a break from their everyday routines.
The support from our local community was heartwarming, with hundreds of parade-goers cheering and wanting to learn about our work at Animal Tracks. It's this support that fuels our passion and drives us to continue our mission of rescue and education.
