The devastating Los Angeles wildfires have brought heartbreak to our community. At Animal Tracks Sanctuary, we deeply feel the pain and loss. We see you, we are with you, and we mourn with you—for the people, animal companions, and wildlife who lost their lives, and for the homes and habitats turned to ash. This devastation is a heavy reminder of the fragility of life and the urgent need to care for our planet.
So far, we’ve been fortunate. The sanctuary has remained out of harm’s way, but we know how quickly that can change. Just this week, we hosted animals from another sanctuary facing a high fire risk. While they stayed with us only for a morning, it underscored the importance of standing together in times of crisis.
As the winds continue to fan the flames, we urge everyone to stay safe. Protect yourselves, your loved ones, and your animal companions.
