Volunteer at the Sanctuary

Our volunteers are vital to sanctuary operations. We are always looking for dedicated people with a good work ethic to help us out. We are asking for volunteers to dedicate at least 4 days a month to help out, but more days are always a plus, for you and for us.

Our day includes sweeping, cleaning cages, laundry, dishes, basic maintenance, and projects around the facility. Be aware that this is hard and dirty work. In the beginning you will be shadowing one of our amazing keepers or other experienced volunteers to show you the ropes. We start at 8AM and are usually done by 1PM. After that, if time permits, you might see playtime with the animals. You will have minimal and supervised animal interactions, until the Directors decide otherwise. Safety is our number one priority, for our volunteers and our animals.

You must be able to volunteer on the same day each week. A year commitment is preferred.
